I have an MFA in Graphic Design, an undergraduate degree in Theatre (Northwestern Univ.), and over 20 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, including in academia, in-house corporate design, marketing firms, non-profits, various small businesses, and the arts. I was a design professor at the college level for 10 years. Since the fall of 2010, I have been a freelance designer for professional theatres and other non-profits full-time.
I am highly efficient and detail-oriented, and while I enjoy working on a team (because Theatre is Family), I'm also independent, self-motivated, and always hit the ground running.

I am versatile and intellectually curious. I am drawn to clients involved in creative endeavors. I also love to problem-solve and create useful, clear design that can make information accessible to anyone. Additionally, I'm a produced playwright with a degree in acting for the Theatre and am a huge film buff, so storytelling, even in a static postcard, finds its way into my visual solutions.
I design because I enjoy its beauty and clarity, but also because I love the "big idea."
